In 1989, Dr. Katz and a small group of local business leaders created a solution to the lack of high quality accessible childcare in the community. The Child Care Consortium was born—a bold, community-based program designed to give every child a strong, nurturing start. Thirty years later, the torch was passed to Paladin, an organization deeply committed to inclusive, compassionate care. Today, the program thrives under Paladin’s leadership—growing, evolving, and continuing the work that Dr. Katz began. Dr. Katz still supports the program as a Board member and by offering guidance, encouragement, and an enduring belief in what’s possible when a community comes together for its children.

Today, in addition to the tuition assistance fund, the Katz Family is asking you to help us meet a critical and immediate safety need. Safe, secure fencing around Imagination Station is essential to protecting our children. Every day, our young learners explore, play, and grow in the outdoor spaces, and we are committed to ensuring those moments happen in a fully safe and secure environment.

Your donation will directly support the installation of much-needed protective fencing around the center- creating a secure perimeter so children can learn and play freely, while families and staff have peace of mind.
